What we collect
When you place an order or create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, shipping/billing address, payment details (handled by our merchant processor — we never see your full card number), and the specs of any bats you configure. If you sign up for ProTraining or a player profile, we may also collect training data, video uploads, and metrics from connected devices (Trackman, HitTrax, Blast).
How we use it
To fulfill your orders, communicate with you about them, ship them, and support them post-sale. To improve the product. To send transactional email (order confirmation, shipping updates). To send marketing email only if you've opted in. To detect and prevent fraud. We do not sell your data.
Who we share with
Our merchant processor (payments), TaxJar (sales tax), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS, with your consent), Cloudflare (CDN + video storage), Mux (video transcoding), Supabase (authentication + database), and analytics providers we deploy on the marketing site. Each is a processor — they handle your data on our behalf and only for the purposes we tell them.
Minors (COPPA)
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you're under 13 and want a Zinger account, a parent or guardian must create it on your behalf and accept these terms. Public player profiles for users under 13 are restricted to the parent dashboard until parental consent is confirmed.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your account, or unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Email privacy@zingerbats.com.
